Sweet and Sour

Braised Spare Ribs with PineappleThe Sweet part: I made a really tasty dish tonight "Braised Spare Ribs with Pineapple". It is from the The Thousand Recipe Chinese Cookbook. It has a very rich, sweet and tangy taste. The pork is very tender, because it is simmered for 45 minutes. Hubby was a big fan, I think he ate 3/4 of the dish himself.

Print O' The Wave StoleNow for the sour part: after working endlessly on the other half of the Print O' The Wave Stole on my Italy trip, I find I had missed a stitch in the middle of the pattern. The Rowan Kidsilk Haze is part mohair and part silk, so it's very slippery and fuzzy. This stitch must have slipped off the needle, before I went onto the next stitch and I didn't notice. I am only 5 pattern repeats (x 12 stitches) away from the end of the other half.

I am contemplating 2 options:
1) chucking this whole side and starting from scratch, the first few rows were already not perfect
2) sew up this hole somehow and just finish it.

I'm very tempted by option # 2, but I've read horror stories of things coming apart when you mend something in the middle. What should I do? I just can't move on. If I don't continue, I bet I will go with hidden option #3, start another project, claiming to come back to this, and then never doing that.

Yarn is really fuzzy and the mistake is right next to a yarnover, so that's why you don't easily spot it. But in person, it's 3 dropped stitches (a ssk). Jenna is says I should just continue and just weave it in somehow. I dunno...
