UFOs Rule the Sky

Since I have started at Hello Bank and I'm adjusting to married life, all which take time, especially the cooking and cleaning and working part. I also want to take some art courses, driving lessons (I can't drive, it's a sad truth), and swimming lessons, I have decided not to knit anymore.


Yes, you're not hallucinating... you read correctly.


Until things calm down in my life and I have more time...


Maybe I'll pick up the UFOs (Unfinished Objects) next year...


Or the year after that...

APRIL FOOL!!!! A belated April Fool! Did you think I could give up knitting? NO! In fact, I have a renewed energy to finish my UFOs. I just finished hubby's Brioche Hat from Weekend Knitting. He lost his cashmere hat this winter, so I decided to make him a new one. I had trouble following the pattern near the end, I must have missed a few stitches. The pattern is really striking. It is so soft, it's made from Manos del Uruguay Handcrafted Kettled Dyed Pure Wool and Cascade Yarns Baby Alpaca Chunky. I love Alpaca, it's so soft and warm, perfect for harsh NY Winters.
